For all tree lovers and tree huggers alike, this page is the right page for you. Started in 2002 this site was designed to share love for all people who are for the planet. If you’ve paid even passing attention to the climate change debate in recent years, you’ve more than likely heard the term ‘treehugger’ tossed around once or twice. Often leveled towards ecologists and activists as an insult, the term has become co-opted by the green movement. Makes sense; when you love something, you hug it, right? But as cute and/or derogatory as the image of environmentalists squeezing trees may be, it actually has (WARNING: INCOMING PUN) roots in a real-life event.

Some times when whether permits, we like to get together and go on actual explorative nature hikes to get more pictures of the trees around the United States .
